Yves Heremans

Yves is a Postdoctoral Investigator and a Lab Manager.

Expertise: Identification of signals for beta cell differentiation.  

In 1997, I obtained a master in Biomedical Sciences at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and in 2002 a PhD at the VUB-BENE lab. After a postdoc at the University of Minnesota, I returned to the BENE lab to work as senior research associate and lab manager. In addition, I am responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of a core facility for situ RNA/protein expression profiling, imaging and analysis (VUB-LMMO).
