Stephanie Bourgeois

Stephanie is a PhD student.

In 2020, I graduated as a Biologist with a master in Molecular and Cellular Life Sciences at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. In that same year, I started my career as a PhD student in the BENE lab after being granted a PhD Fellowship from the Fonds Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek Vlaanderen (FWO). During my PhD, I study the interactions between blood vessels and beta cells and use these findings to help develop a true cure for diabetes. In my free time I like to go for a walk with my dog and spend time with my family.
