Ellen De Beer

Ellen De Beer studied Biomedical Sciences at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. In her second year of master’s, she started an internship at the Biology of the Testis research group that lasted one academic year. She focused on developing a human testicular organoid model for toxicity and drug screening. She obtained her master’s degree in June 2024 and started as PhD student at BITE in January 2025, where she focuses on refining the indications for immature testicular tissue banking and optimizing testicular tissue grafting in men.
