Chi Mai Duong

Mai finished her BSc degree in Biomedical Science following with a MSc degree in Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine at Cardiff University, UK. In October 2023, she joined Prof.Dr. Claudia Spits team as a PhD candidate, working on how chromosome abnormalities/copy number variations influence the differentiation pathway of human pluripotent stem cells into retinal pigmented epithelial cells. This can provide an insight for genetics screening methods of hPSC-derived RPE for clinical purposes.
