We are thrilled to announce that we designed the cover for the November 2024 issue of Trends in Endocrinology and Metabolism, which features our latest review article! The cover artwork, created together with Len Degroote / Althar.be, symbolically merges a phoenix rising from its ashes with a pancreatic islet, capturing the theme of renewal and transformation in diabetes therapy. Our review, explores innovative insights into beta cell regeneration, aiming to shift diabetes treatment from “caring for” to “curing” the disease. We hope this cover art and article inspire further research in the pursuit of functional beta cell restoration.
