Ann Demarre

Ann is a Senior Research Technician.

Major expertise: histology.  

I studied clinical laboratorium techniques in Antwerp. I started working in the department of Prof. D. Pipeleers 37 years ago, thereafter I joined the Belgian Diabetes Register and since 13 years I am working in the BENE lab, with the same enthusiasm as from the beginning. I am specialized in histology (including sectioning and immunohistochemistry staining). In my free time I like to work in the garden, grow vegetables and even make my own honey (the bees)
