Anfien Huyghebaert

Anfien graduated in 2023 as Master of Science in Biology: Molecular and Cellular life sciences at the VUB. She successfully defended her master thesis at REGE that focused on the functional consequences of aneuploidy during RPE differentiation. In October 2023, she started her PhD under supervision of Prof. Dr. Claudia Spits and Dr. Diana Al Delbany. The focus of her project is on the development of liver organoids to model human pluripotent stem cell tumorigenesis.
